Miele has been traveling and photographing for more than twenty years: in the United States, Canada, Western Europe, Japan. Since 2003 he has visited Norway at least once a year to teach photographic workshops and to photograph the Norwegian landscape. The stunning black-and-white prints that make up this exhibition feature images made in all these places.
Mieles photographs have been included in exhibitions throughout the United States, Western Europe, and Norway. Previous solo shows have been held at the Fernbank Museum in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Soho Photo Gallery in New York. His work has also been featured at the prestigious Photo London contemporary photography fair, and in Fotografi, Norways premiere photography magazine.
